Description: Cytokeratin 10 (CK10) is a 56.5kDa is a type I cytokeratin that is expressed in all suprabasal layers of the epidermis. The expression of CK10 parallels with the level of differentiation in the epidermis. CK10 is expressed first in the suprabasal layer with an increasing concentration towards the granular layer while absent in the basal layer.
