Description: This monoclonal antibody recognizes CD79a which is an extracellular component of the signal transduction pathway of B-cells. CD79a is expressed during the pre-B-cell stage and persists until the plasma cell stage. CD79a is highly conserved across species making it useful in the identification of B-cell lymphomas in a range of species.
